PUJYA SWAMI CHINMAYANAND'S VISITS TO REWA  

         
         Like light spreads from the east as the sun raises each morning- H.H. Swami Chinmayanand ji came to Rewa for the first time in May 1953 and brought with him the light of knowledge. He spoke on the Kenopanishad and the Yagna lasted for a full 30 days. He had been invited by his classmate of the Lucknow University, Shri K.K. Sharma. Shri Sharma was on ‘IAS officer and was then the Chief secretary of the ‘C’ class state called ‘Vindhya  Pradesh’.

          He came 'TO MAKE HINDS-HINDS' as he had declared in his first Yagna Chennai in 1951. His visit to Rewa was the initiation of the spiritual awakening of this small place that Snuggles in the very heart region of our country.
